«Culture Helps / Культура допомагає»: results of the third call of the individual grants

During the month of the competition, we received 351 applications and selected 23 cultural managers, activists, and artists within the third (and the last for this year) call for individual grants for mental health support within the «Culture Helps / Культура допомагає». The selected grantees work with the cultural integration of people who have been forced to move to safer regions of Ukraine or abroad because of the russia’s war in Ukraine. They receive financial support for their mental health, which can be spent on a therapist, stays in health resort, retreats, residences, etc. 

In this call we support:

  1. Iryna Bila — a cultural manager, Vilnius, Lithuania; 
  1. Anastasia Burchyk — an activist, Ukraine, Pereyaslav; 
  1. Anton Telbizov — an artist, Germany, Hanover; 
  1. Natalia Serbeniuk — an activist, Ukraine, Kharkiv; 
  1. Alevtyna Shvetsova — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Vinnyki; 
  1. Alina Stamenova — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Dnipro; 
  1. Mariia Iurchak — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Ternopil; 
  1. Georgy Bekmurzin — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Dnipro; 
  1. Kateryna Lukianenko — an artist, Ukraine, Kyiv; 
  1. Yuliia Kolesnyk — an activist, Ukraine, Podilsk; 
  1. Olena Ukraintseva — an artist, Germany, Siegen; 
  1. Artem Konovalov — an activist, Ukraine, Rivne; 
  1. Dzvenislava Safiyan — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Tysmenychany village; 
  1. Natalia Kravchunovska — a cultural manager, Ukraine, Dnipro; 
  1. Serhii Shtambur — an activist, Germany, Chemnitz; 
  1. Yulia Karpenko — an activist, Ukraine, Poltava; 
  1. Roman Sadovskyi — an artist, Germany, Berlin; 
  1. Anastasia Shvedova — an artist, Ukraine, Sambir; 
  1. Maria Burmaka — an artist, Ukraine, Kyiv. 

All applications were evaluated by a pool of 4 independent jury members: 

Viktoria Shvydko — a project manager at Lesya Ukrainka Lviv Academic Drama Theatre, head of the NGO Art Workshop Drabyna; 

Yulia Filipieva — a cultural manager at House of Europe; 

Iryna Bilan — a head of the fundraising department at the Mystetskyi Arsenal; 

Olga Bozhko (Volynska) — a director, screenwriter, head of organization development at the NGO Human Rights Group «SICH»; 

Natasha Dmytrenko — a facilitator, member of the EACEA evaluators pool; 

Oleksandra Havryliuk — a head of the public relations department at the Mystetskyi Arsenal; 

Natalia Kernytska — a manager of international cooperation at Ukrainian Cultural Foundation; 

Halyna Hleba — a co-curator and editor-in-chief of the Wartime Art Archive at the NGO Museum of Contemporary Art; 

Nataliia Yaroshenko — a project manager (School of City Ambassadors, Sumy Rock Fest, RockFightSumy), grant manager at Sumy Agency of Promotion, organizer of the Taras Shevchenko Festival Ше.Fest; 

Yaryna Korotkevich — a project manager, curator; 

Yurii Veselskyi — a Program and Grants Officer at the Danish Cultural Institute in Ukraine; 

Karina Okhrimenko — a social entrepreneur, project manager, facilitator, founder of the social entrepreneurship «Moim.Ridnym».
